The Aliens
When I was eight years old, my life took a turn into the unexplainable. It was a night like any other, my mom tucked me into bed, kissed my forehead, and left me to drift off to sleep. But what I woke up to was something Iโll never forget.
I opened my eyes to find myself inside a pod, pressed against the wall of a dark, cold room. The podโs surface was smooth and black and gray with a clear door, as soon as I was awake and aware the pod door opened, as if something knew I was awake, I climbed out and this allowed me to see other pods lined up nearby. Each pod contained a human, some children like me, other adults.
The room was silent except for a faint almost inaudible hum that seemed to come from the very structure of the room. Curiosity pushed me forward.
Stepping out onto the metal floor, I realized how alien my surroundings were. The air was dry, and the walls were very matt and dark grayish. Ahead of me was a long, narrow corridor. I hesitated but began walking.
Eventually, I reached a fork in the corridor. As I tried to decide which way to go, a section of the wall to my left slid open. From the hidden doorway emerged two alien beings.
They were tall, with slender frames and pale gray skin. Their large, almond-shaped eyes seemed to pierce through me. They didnโt speak aloud but instead projected thoughts directly into my mind.
One of them asked, โDo you want to put the chip in your eye, or should we do it for you?โ I didnโt know what they meant. My voice trembled as I said, โYou do it.โ
The moment I spoke, everything went dark. When I woke up, I was back in my bed. Morning light filtered through the curtains, and my room looked exactly as it had before. But I didnโt feel the same.
The Nosebleeds
Shortly after that night, I began experiencing severe and frequent nosebleeds. They were so intense that my mom grew concerned and took me to the doctor.
During the examination, the doctor noticed something unusual: a small, unidentifiable object deep inside my nasal cavity. He explained that it couldnโt be removed because it was connected to sensitive areas, and trying to extract it could cause significant harm.
Neither my mom nor the doctor could explain what it was or how it had gotten there, but I knew. It had to be connected to that night on the ship.
The nosebleeds eventually subsided as I grew older, but the memories of that night never faded. For years, I kept the experience to myself, afraid of being dismissed or ridiculed.
Iโve come to realize that Iโm not alone. Stories like mine are more common than we think, though many go unspoken. I share this not to convince anyone but to reach others who may have experienced something similar. Aliens are real and they do travel to Earth and they do make contact with humans.
That night left me with more questions than answers. Why did the Aliens choose me? And what was the purpose of the chip?
If youโve ever experienced something unexplainable or have a story to share, Iโd love to hear it. Letโs piece together the puzzle of the unknown together.
